Ok I know. Emilia is number four. I should have this down by now. She's the first girl though so give me a little break. Now this post is gonna get a little tmi. Just a warning.
Every single day Emilia has a blow out. Not up the back like my boys had on occasion. No no. Hers are either a. Up the front. Or b. out the side?
I truly don't understand the physics of the side blow out. It happens. Daily. I'm so tired of getting her dressed multiple times a day due to this unfortunate problem. Here is the list of things I've tried to remedy the situation
Disposable
Size up disposable
Cloth
Bum genius
Bum genius elemental
Flip cover
Alva
Unsnap rise on bg and bge
It all leads to the same result. Blow out city and she's mayor.
Do you, people of the blogosphere have any advice? Something else for me to attempt? A cloth diaper that won't leave us covered in poo?
Thanks in advance!

THAT mom
Today, Owen picked out his own clothes.
He looked....well ridiculous. Especially until the size 5 swim trunks he chose to wear for the day fell off. Then he just looked a little crazy.
I let him be him. He wore his 'frog jammies' and frog boots, and the brown striped polo shirt. He sure did splash in the freezing puddle in the parking lot. He had a great time. And he was proud of himself for getting dressed my self. He's growing up, becoming independent and making choices. It's bittersweet. It's amazing to see his little personality develop. He can be the most shy child ever and then with a blink turn into the most outgoing. He loves elderly people and they love him.
People always say he's going to be a heart-breaker, and I don't think so. He is a beautiful child, but he also has a kind personality. I hope and pray that he remains kind and calm.

Au Revoir Summer
It's been a good one. We did a lot of fun things, and had fun exploring our new city. The boys have made a bunch of good friends in our cul de sac, and are never lacking a playmate. Well, until today. Today all of those good friends got on the bus and headed to their first day of Kindergarten. (We have 10 kids at our bus stop, and 5 of them are kindergarteners!)
Gabe is a little sad. He misses his brother, he misses his friends. He's stuck with Owen. I don't entirely blame him :)
My 1st Grader :) Wearing NONE of his new school clothes! LOL
So handsome and big! How did he get so old?
Heart.Breakers.
The crew! (big bus stop, no?)
The bus!
Waiting for his turn
Bye Julian! Have a great first day of 1st grade <3
Ahhh! How do I have a 1st grader already? I'm pretty sure he was just born, like 2 minutes ago! Time flies. And to think in less than three months I'll have another, baby number four! This mama is overwhelmed :)
