Cheeseball post about my wonderful family.

Yesterday was a bad day for me. I woke up grumpy. You know, the kind where you wish everyone would just leave you alone, so you could take a long nap and restart your day? That was me. Crab-a-licious. But above the crabbiness, I was sad. I cried yesterday, which I don't do. The boys were angels all day. Gabe was a kisser, and Julian, as always, a cuddler. It was good, and sweet. Julian even put his pants on without me asking him too. (Which as most of you know, is a small miracle. Especially because he doesn't wear clothes.)

Later in the day, I had emailed Barry, and told him that I reallllllllllllllly wanted a Reeses Peanut Butter Bar (Yeah if you haven't had one, you're missing out. Best. Chocolate. Bar. Ever.) And he emailed me back and said that he would take the boys when he got home from school to the store to get me one, so I could take a bath. <3

Before they left, Julian let a small secret slip. "Mommy, we're going to get you a surprise, it starts with an 'F', it's flowers."

When they got home from the store, Julian, as usual bounded up to the door long before his dad and brother. I was upstairs, getting ready for bed after my bath, and he said, "Mommy, we got you a necklace." I was confused. They'd gone to the grocery store. What kind of necklaces do they have at the grocery store? CANDY! :) It was sooo sweet. Julian was a little disappointed that the store didn't have a giant bag of Sour Patch Kids like he'd envisioned. But was thrilled with the candy necklaces.

My boys are so wonderful to me. Gabe was so excited about the candy necklace. As soon as it was on, he said, "bite maw." Gabe is funny. He doesn't call me Mom, mommy, he calls me "Maw." Like he's from Brooklyn, or something. It cracks me up. Sometimes it's "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw." Barry isn't usually Bare, he's now officially DADDY. And Julian, he's either Jaaaaaaay or Juwin. It's still hard for me to believe that my baby is nearly two.
