Oh and this

Our neighbors down the way, the ones that are moving to Washington for 4th year's rotations, gave us a TON of food today! We were a little stressed about money, since Barry's aid doesn't come in until the 8th or 9th. But they totally hooked us up for food, so we don't have to stress about food & money!

Thanks so much Debbi! I'm really sad that you are moving away! I think we would have a lot to talk about, especially Twilight...and Breaking Dawn...

And another family in the complex, came to say hi, and brought us chocolate cookies! It was way sweet! They've got a little boy who is 18 months, and another on the way! I am really loving the sense of community we've got already, even 4 days into it!

I just caught up on your blog! I'm glad you had a safe trip. I'm so sorry you are missing WA so much. :( I'm sure that Iowa will start to feel like home soon. Little known fact: I was born in Iowa, LOL!!

You are so nice - I totally remember the days that we moved here - had no money left in savings, had no money for anything and didn't have our aid yet, so I totally understand and that is why I asked you to come down. Been there and trust me it gets so much better! This community is great, there are so many fun families, the school is great (did you know there is a wife/spouse club - they call it signifigant "others" but you know what I mean) Iowa is such a great place for families, you will love it! Promise!

I need to get your email or phone number - I have a few questions for you about WA....

And - yes we could totally have WAY good talks about Twilight - still can through blogs I suppose! I am soo bummed I will have to be driving instead of reading this weekend!

Hi Christia,

You don't know me, but my husband and I live right next door to Debbi. She told me that you just moved here and that she thought your blog said something about knitting. My husband is a second year DO and I am involved with SAA (the group for spouses and significant others) One club I am very invovled in is knitting. We meet each Thursday night, so I just wanted to invite you. If you do want to go please feel free to email me at phillips.jb@gmail.com or comment on my blog phillipsponderings.blogspot.com I don't mind driving. Or, I may try to stop by and say hi tomorrow.
